Students must start bringing their chromebooks to school, charged. Too many are being loaned out from the office every single day. There is no excuse why you should not be bringing your charged chromebook to school with you every day.
Students: you will need to use phones in classrooms if you need to make a call during the day. If you don’t want to make the call in a classroom, you will need to wait after school, in line, to use the student phone at the office. Remember that cell phones are not allowed during school, they need to be silenced and in your locker.
A copy of the book "100 Days of Sunlight" (that doesn't belong to the library) was turned in and may be claimed there.
VMS Student Council Helpful Humor Tip of the Day: Laughter can stimulate circulation and aid muscle relaxation, both of which can help reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress.
It's time to vote for Golden Sower favorites. Voting is open this week only. Students may get a ballot from the library or their reading teachers. To vote, students must have read at least 4 books from either the Chapter Book or Novel categories, or if they've read 4 books in BOTH categories, they may vote in EACH category.
UPDATE: VMS Track Meet at West Holt (Atkinson) has been moved to FRIDAY. Track meet begins at 12:30 p.m., team will be dismissed at 9:30 a.m. and will depart at 9:45 a.m.
