VMS Band members will be traveling to Ainsworth on Thursday for the Band Festival. Bus loads at 7:30 a.m. at VMS. Remember to pack a lunch and wear a black t-shirt (if you didn’t purchase a festival shirt), jeans or black pants. Please let Mrs. Springer know if you don’t have one. Be respectful and kind, have fun and good luck! Make Valentine Middle School proud!

There will be a Halloween Teen Center at the old gym on Friday, October 29th, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There will be a costume contest, fun and games, $3 admission. The office will let you know when we receive the permission slips.

VMS 5th graders are invited to a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 30th at the Hidden Oaks Cabin in the City Park (the Girl Scout cabin). Some parents have put together a fun night of activities for you from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  There will be games, prizes, food, pumpkin decorating and more! Costumes are optional but encouraged! Your parent/guardian must sign you in with one of the chaperones and must sign you out as well.

Mrs. Perrett’s Badger Pause is hosting a raffle to benefit the Sandhills Cancer Fund. Tickets are $5 each for a chance to win a Bomgaars gift card! Drawing will be held on November 22nd. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, please contact Mrs. Perrett.
