  • Lunch for today is: French Toast Sticks w/Eggs, Cheeseburger, or Ham & Cheese Sub.
  • Seniors, please check your emails and complete the Google form sent from Journalism. Baby pictures are due September 30th.  Please turn them into Kassity Denbo, Alyssa Hockenbary, Mataya Morrison, Finley Mosner, or Mrs. Hand.
  • Students if you are planning on bringing a Homecoming  date from another school this is your reminder to get a form from Mrs. Arganbright that is due back by Sept. 28th.  Homecoming will be held on Friday, Oct 1st. 
  • Reminder to those wishing to take the Oct. 23rd ACT test that the deadline to register is today.
  • Homecoming week will be September 27-October 1st with the theme: Blazing through the decades. The Spirit days are as follows: Monday the roaring ‘20s, Tuesday ‘50s & ‘60s, Wednesday ‘70s, Thursday ‘80s & ‘90s, and Friday SPIRIT Day!
  • Homecoming festivities will take place next week. Check with your class president or sponsor if you want to help with the painting of the windows. Spirit days every day and there may be a prize given to the best dressed. The parade will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 1st. Get your best Tik Tok dance perfected. Each class freshman-senior can put together a group dance and the winners of the contest will get into the dance for free. Mrs. Arganbright must have your music by this Friday, September 24th. Crowning of the homecoming king and queen will take place at half-time of the football game that starts at 7:00 PM. The dance will follow the game in the multipurpose room for all 9th-12th graders, your out-of-town date forms need to be turned in by September 30th. Doors will close approximately 1 hour after the football game ends. Entry to the dance is $5 for a single and $8 for a couple. Reminder ALL school rules apply to spirit days and at the dance. Go Badgers!! 
  •  To kick off Homecoming week, the Valentine Badger Boosters will be hosting Girls Football and Guys Volleyball!  Sign up for your class team outside Mrs. Arganbright's classroom. All high school students are welcome to compete on your class teams!  NOTE this CHANGE - Guys volleyball will be FIRST this year and start at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 26th, with Girls football to follow on the football field about 6:00pm.  May the best class win!
  • Class ring packets are available in Mrs. Hand’s room and are typically ordered when you are a Sophomore.  Ordering a class ring is optional and is done on-line for those wishing to purchase one from Jostens.com.
  • One Act play read thru is today at 7:00 pm.
  • FFA Chapter meeting today at 7 pm.
  • Mock Trial Practice today at 5:30 pm.
  • Girls Golf will be at Frederick Peak tomorrow at 10:00 am.
  • Congratulations to Tyson Welch, our Badger Athlete of the week.  Mrs. Gass says: Tyson, a senior this year, has run Cross Country for six years. Through hard work and determination , Tyson improved his personal best record by more than two minutes. As the second runner for Valentine, Tyson placed 14th. Congratulations Tyson.
  • Congratulations to Sophie Jordan, our Badger Scholar of the week.  Mrs. Manning says: I am so proud of Sophie and the steps that she has already taken for her future!  She has gone on a college visit to the school that she would like to attend as well as looking at the classes that she will have to take for her program of study.  I believe that she will do great at whatever she sets her mind to!
  • There is no school Wednesday due to a District wide in-service.  Classes resume on Thursday at 8 am.
