 ~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date: March 20th, 2025

  • Lunch for today is: Loaded Hash Browns w/biscuit, Sloppy Joe, Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket, Uncrustable/Cheese

  • Student led Bible study will be on Friday @ 7:30AM in the commons. 

  • Speech Public Performance on Friday. 

  • Track @ UNK on Saturday at 11:00AM. Bus will depart at 6:45AM. 

  • SWC Art & Music @ McCook on Saturday. Bus will depart on Friday between 7:00-7:30PM.

  • Attention seniors, it is time to place your carnation flower order. Each senior will receive 1 carnation to be handed out at graduation that is paid for by the class. Students have the option to purchase up to 3 additional flowers at $3 a piece. Please email Mrs. Stoner if you would like to purchase any extra flowers. Payments can be given to Mrs. Stoner. The deadline is April 10th. 

  • Prom forms can be turned in to Mrs. Buechle (room 118), leave in folder on the filing cabinet inside the door. Please get these in ASAP.

  • Out of Town prom date forms are in the office for those who have dates that don’t go to VHS. They are due on Monday, March 24. 

  • The fines list has been hung on the office door.  You will not be able to attend Prom until your fines/dues are paid.

  • Juniors and seniors need to get their $10 post prom fee paid to the office by Friday.  

  • SOPHOMORES: Come pick up your "Split the Jackpot" tickets from Mrs. Shelbourn!!

NEXT WEEK

  • Wrestling check-ins are going to be Tuesday after school. 

  • State ACT for juniors on Tuesday.

  • ASVAB for sophomores in auditorium on Tuesday.

  • State Speech @ Kearney on Wednesday - TBD. 

  • A Doane rep will be here during lunch shifts on Wednesday. 

  • Golf - Varsity Boys @ North Platte - 10:00AM on Friday. Bus will depart at 7:00AM. 

  • Track @ Ainsworth at 1:00PM on Friday. Departure TBD.
