 ~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date: March 3rd, 2025

  • Lunch for today is: Chicken Ranch Pasta w/roll, French Toast Sticks w/eggs, Cheeseburger Basket, Uncrustable/Cheese

  • ROTC will be here during lunch today.

  • FFA CDE #2 in North Platte today. 

  • HS Spring practices start today! 

  • Community Quiz Bowl on Tuesday.

  • FFA Officer Meeting on Wednesday at 7:00AM. 

  • UNL Rep will be here @1:00-3:30 on Wednesday. 

  • NCTA Rep will be here during lunch on Wednesday.

  • Out of Town prom date forms are in the office for those who have dates that don’t go to VHS. They are due on Monday, March 24. 

  • All NHS members need to get their community service hours turned into Mrs. Adams

  • Mr. Jensen's Badger Den is collecting pop tabs for the rest of the school year to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Collection boxes can be found in Mr. Jensen's room, in the teacher's lounge, or on the tall tables in the commons. 

  • The fines list has been hung on the office door.  You will not be able to attend Prom until your fines/dues are paid.

  • Next post prom meeting March 3rd at 6:30pm at the Vet's Club.

  • There will be a meeting in the HS Auditorium after school Monday for anyone interested in going out for Track this Spring.  If you have not had your sports physical yet, please do so asap.  IF the weather is nice, we will have practice after the meeting.

  • There will be a meeting on Monday after school in Muirhead's room for any boys interested in Golf.

  • The 2025 Prom servers are:  Leighton Reagle, Deklin Titus, Duncan Mosner, Trystan Beebout, Dominic Beebout, Tygh Miller, Tierney Miller, Katelyn Bitner, River Doyle and  Joni Cox 

  • Prom invitations will be going out this week.  If you do not receive one check the office door for the list of fines/dues.

  • If you would like to buy a full box of chocolates, they are on sale for $40 for the whole box of 60 candy bars!  See Mrs. Hoefs is interested.
