~ VHS Student Announcements ~

  • Lunch for today is: Pizza Pasta Bake w/breadstick, Chicken Nugs w/breadstick, Uncrustable/cheese, Hot dog basket

  • Wrestling - Varsity Boys/Girls @ Broken Bow at 5:00PM on Thursday. Students will dismiss at 1:15PM.

  • Boys BB Team Supper @6:00PM on Thursday in the Commons. 

  • Student led Bible study will be held in the commons on Friday morning at 7:30AM. 

  • BB-JV/Varsity Girls/Boys @ Hershey at 4:30PM on Friday. Students will dismiss at 12:30PM.

  • Students interested in the Commercial Drivers License (CDL) simulator that will be here on Monday, January 20, period 5-9, please sign up with Mr. Cronin by the end of the day FRIDAY. 

  • Students who are taking dual credit classes and haven’t paid the VCS Foundation, please do so. If you don’t know if you have paid or what you owe, please see Mr. Cronin. As of now 47 of 70 students haven’t paid. 

  • Speech- Varsity Invitational at 8:00AM on Saturday. 

  • BB - JV/Varsity Girls/Boys @ Ogallala at 2:00PM on Saturday. 

  • 2025 Coronation "Game Night" will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, at 5:30 PM, with a dance for VHS 9th-12th and dates to follow from 7:00 - 10:00 PM.  Tickets are $3 for K-12 students and $7 for adults. Students who purchase a ticket AND ATTEND the ceremony will get into the dance with proof of purchase; the dance is $5 for singles and $8 for couples. 

  • Seniors, you should have all received an email from Mrs. Arganbright regarding Most for VHS. If you did not and want to apply, PLEASE EMAIL OR LET MRS. ARGANBRIGHT KNOW. 

  • Mrs. Stoeger’s Badger Pause is raising money for Valentines for Vets.  Each card mailed requires a $1 in postage.  Each building is being challenged to collect during the month of January.  If you would like to donate, money will be collected in the office.

  • Leo Brinda Unit #90 American Legion Auxiliary is hosting its annual Valentines for Veterans drive.  Valentines should be no larger than 8.5 x 11" and are due by 5:00 pm on Feb. 3.  Drop boxes are at KVSH, Valentine Public Library or the Extension Office.  This is a great way for individuals or student groups to complete community service hours!
