~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date, October 1st, 2024 

• Lunch for today is: Buffalo Chicken Pasta, Country Fried Steak w/Dinner Roll, Spicy Chicken San Basket, Uncrustable/Cheese

• Girls Golf SWC today @ Ogallala at 11:00AM. Bus will depart at 7:00AM

• JV/V Volleyball today @ Home at 5:00PM

• JV Golf today @ Ainsworth at 4:00PM. Students will be dismissed at 2:00PM

• ALL SOPHOMORES will be going to Kearney on Wednesday, October 2nd, for a Career Exploration Day.  The bus will leave at 5:45 am and we should return by 3:30 pm.  Lunch will be provided.  We will most likely be visiting booths both indoors and outdoors, so please dress for the weather (forecast for Kearney on Wednesday is sunny and 86) and wear good walking shoes.  Normal dress code applies. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Manning.

• XC on Thursday @ West Holt at 4:00PM. Students will be dismissed at 1:15PM 

• R/JV/V Volleyball on Thursday @ Home at 5:00/6:00/7:00 

• Varsity Football on Friday @ Home at 7:00PM Homecoming

• LOGOS starts this Wednesday (10/2) at the Presbyterian Church with dinner at 6PM. All are welcome to attend. 

• Anybody who still has AT LEAST TWO sets of beads left will be in the R,P, S championship TODAY. If you only have 1 set of beads, you need to challenge someone. 

• We will be running 2:00 SCHEDULES on Wednesday and Thursday so classes and organizations will be able to work on Homecoming floats. Friday already is a 2:00 schedule. 

• Homecoming Themed Days - Tuesday: Neon vs. Black/White, Wednesday: Senior Citizen, Thursday: Country vs. Country Club, Friday: Badger Spirit 

• Students are not to be using earbuds, they can use wired headphones if need be.

• Juniors please sign up for concession stand help on the google doc Mrs. Buechle shared with you.  Those who sign up will get a percentage taken off of your class dues!!

• Anyone that would like to attend the college fair in Todd County on Wednesday, please let Bonnie know by noon on Tuesday.
