 ~ VHS Student Announcements ~

Date, September 12th, 2024

  • Lunch for today is: Spaghetti, Corn Dog, Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket, Uncrustable/Cheese

  • One Act make up Auditions will be this evening at 7:00PM

  • School pictures are Friday. Seniors, please go in before school starts to get your pictures taken. 9th-11th grade will be called by class. 

  • One Act read through will be Friday at 7:00AM

  • Sophomore Health Checks will be Friday starting at 10:45AM

  • Varsity Football @ Gibbon on Friday. Students will be dismissed at 12:45PM.  All football players will need to eat 1st lunch shift.

  • XC @ Broken Bow at 9:00AM on Saturday. Bus will depart at 6:00AM

  • Varsity Volleyball @ Cozad at 9:00AM on Saturday. Bus will depart at 7:45AM

  • Out-of-town date forms are in the office. Completed forms need to be returned to the office by Monday September 30th.

  • Applications for Write the River which will be Monday, Sept. 23 are in the office.

  • VCS Safety & Security Team is looking for student representatives!  If you are interested in joining the team, please email or call Alison Larsen at the middle school by Friday, September 13th

  • Mrs. Arganbright has 3 softcover yearbooks for sale ($50). 

  • There will be a student council meeting Friday at 7:30 AM in Mrs. Arganbright’s room. 

  • Students will not be allowed to get a la carte items at lunch until everyone is through the line.

  • Sophomores: If you are interested in ordering a class ring through Josten's, please stop by and pick up a ring packet from Mrs. Shelbourn.

  • National Honor Society has the concession stand for the football game on Sept. 20th.  Members please come sign up to work a shift as this money goes for the NHS scholarship awarded in the spring.

  • Today is the 20th day of school!

  • Juniors and seniors that signed up for the Northeast Community College campus visit on Tuesday, September 17th, the bus will depart at 6 am and return around 3:30 pm.  Lunch will be provided at the college.  Please wear good walking shoes as we will do a lot of walking and dress for the weather.
