ANNOUNCEMENTS

October 22, 2019

1.      Lunch for today is Super Nachos, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, or Fresh Baked Turkey & Cheese Sub, Refried Beans, Cinnamon Stick, Fruit & Veggie Bar, & Milk.

2.       Student council members please remember to pay your dues to Allison Hitchcock or Mrs Arganbright ASAP.

3.       Seniors need to pay class dues of $20 to Katherine Petersen or Mrs. P.

4.       Freshman...It is time to bring shopfund to a close.  Please finalize your sales and get your packets to Mrs. Cardinal no later than class time on Wednesday, 10/23/19!  If you did not participate in the fundraiser or sell the minimum of $100 worth of merchandise, please pay your dues by the same time on Wednesday!

5.       A representative from Wayne State College will be here today at 2:30 for those that want to visit with them.  Sign up in the office.

6.       JV & Varsity Volleyball at Broken Bow today at 4:00 pm. Team will dismiss at 12:30 pm.

7.       One Act Play practice at 7:00 pm today.

8.       School picture retakes will be Wednesday, October 30th after school at Adamson Studio.

9.       Attention seniors, please turn in a senior photo and a baby picture to Aluxyn Hollenbeck or Mrs. Stoner by November 26th. Pictures can be an electronic copy and emailed or a physical copy can be scanned and returned to you. 

10.   Mock Trial’s first competition will be tomorrow at the Cherry County Courthouse at 9:00 am.  Team will leave at 8 am.

11.   There will be a FFA parent meeting tomorrow at 6:00 pm. for parents of students attending the National Convention in Indianapolis later this month. 

12.   John Baylor ACT Test Prep day is tomorrow from 8 am-10 am and then the classes will run on the 10:00 schedule.  Reminder to go to your period 1 class for attendance first at 8 am.

13.   Sandhills Leadership will be at Thedford & Dunning tomorrow.  Departure at 7:00 am.

14.   The Plant Science class will be doing a tour of Niobrara Vineyards and CSS Farms Wednesday and they will depart at 10:00 am.  Make up slips have been issued.

15.   Varsity Football will be at O’Neill Thursday at 7:00 pm. Team will dismiss at 2:30 pm

16.   SWC Volleyball will be at Gothenburg Friday at 11:00 am for their first and it will be with Gothenburg.  Team will depart at 7:00 am.

17.   Congratulations to Sarah Butler for being chosen as the Badger Scholar of the week.  Ms. DeNaeyer says Sarah comes to class prepared and ready to participate everyday. Also, she does not shy away from starting discussions with her peers. Most of all, Sarah has already completed 20+ books this year! That pushes her total for books read in high school to almost 150! She is the epitome of an excellent scholar.

18.   Congratulations to MaKenzie Long for being selected as the Badger of the Week.  MaKenzie has been the top performer for most of the meets of this year. At the South West Conference meet in Ogallala, MaKenzie placed 14th which earned her 3rd team All-conference honors. Great job MaKenzie!
