VHS Announcements 01/31/24

  • Lunch for Thursday: Spaghetti, Chicken Nuggets, Uncrustable, Cheese, & Cracker Platter, or Spicy Chicken Sandwich Basket. 

  • Coronation will be held Sunday February 4th at 5:30 PM at the High School gym. Tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Arganbright during lunch or after school. 

  • All students (and teachers!) are encouraged to make Valentines for Veterans!  Cards should be no larger than 8.5 x 11 and are due by Friday.  Drop off boxes are located at the library, KVSH, and the Extension Office.  Questions?  Call 402-389-1655. 

  • This reminder to all coronation candidates that there will be mandatory Coronation practice on Sunday, February 4, at 1 PM at the High School Gym.

  • Senior NHS members, your community service hours will be due to Mrs. Adams no later than March 1.  Juniors, your hours will be due to Mrs. Adams by April 12th.

  • Juniors get your Pizza Hut cards/money in to Mrs. Porath or Mrs. Buechle by tomorrow

  • Seniors, please check your email for an email from Yearbook. There is a Google form for you to complete by Friday February 2nd for a chance to win a McDonald's gift card!  

  • SWC Wrestling will be held in Cozad tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Students will depart at 5:45 AM. 

  • JV/V GBB/BBB will be at home on Friday vs Gothenburg. Senior night will be held before the Boy’s Varsity game for GBB/BBB/Dance.

  • JV/V GBB/BBB will be at Chadron on Saturday at 3:00 PM. Students will depart at 11:30 AM. 

  • Speech will be at West Holt on Saturday at 8:00 AM. Students will depart at 5:45 AM. 

  • Girls Wrestling will be at Grant (Perkins County) on Saturday for Sub-Districts at 12:00.  Students will depart at 7:00 AM. 

  • Attention students who are interested in going out for track who are NOT in Basketball or Wrestling, please meet in the commons for a quick meeting with Mr. Beebout.

  • Badgers get your friends a Valentine's Day sweet treat! The Yearbook Staff is selling Valentine's Day sweets starting February 1st TOMORROW, through February 7th. They will be handed out to your friends on Tuesday, February 13th during Badger Den.
