  • Happy Birthday to Mrs. Thorpe today!!!

  • LUNCH: Spaghetti, Chicken Nuggets, Garlic Breadstick, Golden Corn, Fruit & Veggie Bar, Milk or Juice

  • Football check out today after school and the first football practice will be tomorrow 3:30 - 4:30.

  • 7th and 8th grade girls interested in going out for volleyball there will be a meeting in the gym today after school.  Practice will start on Monday.  If you haven't gotten your physical you MUST have it done before you can practice!

  • Reminder that ALL 7th graders need to get their physical and get it turned into the office asap and ALL students need to sign into their PowerSchool account and sign the VMS Handbook Form and the VMS Chromebook Form - do this right now please if you haven’t already!

  • StuCo applications are available in Mrs. Foster’s room.  Stop in and grab one if you’d like to apply.  Deadline is August 31st.  

  • STUCO T-SHIRTS: The following students need to email Mrs. Foster with your t-shirt size for your FREE shirt:

    • 5th:   Jayce

    • 6th:  Caleb, Royal, Claudia, Dustin, Ana, Damon, Kyrel, Andrew

    • 7th:   Kelsey, Alora, King, Kayden, Liam, Dylan, Mia

    • 8th:  Ohm, Boone, Annalena

  • Being able to have chewing gum at VMS is a privilege. Some classrooms allow it, some do not. Respect those rules please! And respect our school by NOT throwing wrappers on the floor anywhere. Please spit out your gum IN a trash can.

  • We have Smarts Snacks in the office that can be purchased during the day except during breakfast & lunch. Only open during passing classes. Not available during class time!

  • If the light is off in the Nurse’s Office please come to the office.
